Jean Oesterreicher Parrish, was the daughter of the late Roy Paxton and Lessie Mae Chambers Oesterreicher. On June 12, 1949, she married Cordey Max Parrish, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Parrish was an educator at Pavo Elementary School for a number of years and she was a member of the United Methodist Church in Pavo.
Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law Buddy and Rhonda & Don and Jean; daughter and son in-law Becky and Felix; grandchildren Curt, Jill, Forrest, Michael, Madison and Hannah; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by daughter Nancy Parrish and brother Donald Oesterreicher.
