Born Dec. 19, 1909, in Fort Worth, Texas, he was the son of the late William Frank and Annie Wiseman Estes.
His wife, Pauline Estes, died June 26, 1976.
He retired from Southwestern Bell, Dallas, in 1975 after 45 years of service.
He was a member of Willow Brook Seventh-day Adventist Church in Hagerstown. He had been a member of Bemish Memorial Seventh-day Adventist Church in Mesquite, Texas, where he served as church treasurer.
He is survived by two daughters, Penny Wheeler and Judye Estes, both of Hagerstown;
our grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Services will be Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Elder Richard Cofen will officiate. Graveside services will be Friday in Grove Hill Cemetery, Dallas.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
