The funeral service will be at 6 tonight, Oct. 14, 2003, at the funeral home with burial in Ashbank Cemetery. Micky Crane and Verton Prescott will officiate. Collins-Burke Funeral Home is directing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacquelyn Kay Dozier Collier and Morris Collier; grandfathers, Clyde Dozier and Jim Collier; grandmother, Icdeo Collier; and aunt, Judy Dozier.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Sumpter Collier of Nauvoo; daughter, Miriam Kay Collier-Woodard of Hayden; son, Steton Kyle Collier-Calvert of Nauvoo; stepsons, Matthew Herron of Sipsey and Melvin D. Herron Jr. of Ingalls; grandmother, Lucille Dozier; aunts, Helen Smith and Vaughn Nelson, both of Nauvoo, Rachel Farris of Haleyville and Ruth Whitman of Auburndale, Fla.; uncles, Harold Dozier of Nauvoo and Erskin Collier of Curry; several cousins and special friends; and special parents, Charlie and Joan Wills.
Pallbearers will be Chris Mote, Ron Prosperi, Michael Sellers, Jeff Stines, Jeremy Stines and Robert Walker.
