Nettie Minerva Kinney of Harrison, Arkansas died on November 14, 1985, at St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield. Missouri, at the age of 80. She resided with her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Bobbie Kinney at Harrison, Arkansas.
She was born on May 25, 1905, to Elijah and Florence Fike in Republic County, Kansas. She was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church where she sang in the choir until her illness.
Survivors include her son, Bill Kinney, Harrison; a daughter, Arlene Thompson, Harrison; a brother, John Fike, Courtland; three sisters, Edith Nondorf, Belleville; Mary Bowling, El Reno, Okla.; Lottie Berggren, Scandia, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Willard Kinney, March 14, 1964 and a son, Melvin Patrick, August 27, 1943 while serving in World War II.
Service was Saturday, November 16, 1985 at Christeson Funeral Home. Burial was in Green Mountain Cemetery, Boulder, Colorado
