Michael Pettigrew was born on March 13th, 1979 in Charleston, South Carolina. He was a 1997 graduate of Camden County High school where he enjoyed the wrestling program. His untimely death interrupted his plans to further expand a remodeling company. He has worked for many years in the Camden and Fernandina area as a handy man and dry waller. Anyone that met Michael fell in love with him instantly. He was an upbeat, positive, full of energy guy. Not only was he great at his remodeling profession, he thoroughly enjoyed it. Mike had a way of brightening up any room and would leave you with a smile. Mike lived life to its fullest. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him best.
Michael Pettigrew is survived by his parents. James Pettigrew, Sr. and Linda Pettigrew of Columbia, Maryland; His brother, James Pettigrew Jr. of Tacoma, Washington; his Grandparents, Albert Pettigrew Sr. and Stella Pettigrew of Columbus, Ohio; his nephew Scott Abbott and his niece Alyssa Abbott of St. Mary's, Georgia, girlfriend Julie Ouellette and her two sons Hayden and Layne.
An informal prayer service and remembrance gathering will be held at 77 & 85 Cinnamon Teal Rd, Woodbine, Georgia on Saturday, May 25th, 2013 at 12:00 pm.
