Claude Alfred Ramsey, 85, of Uniontown, Kansas, died Sunday, December 31, 1967, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Scott, where he had been a patient for five days.
..A lifetime resident of Bourbon County, he was born October 8, 1882, the son of Robert and Ella Belknap Ramsey. His first marriage was to Miss Delta Roof on December 25, 1907, at Uniontown. She preceded him in death in 1931. His marriage to Mary Ralston took place November 8, 1932, at Parsons, KS. The couple moved to Uniontown, 22 years ago, when ill health forced his retirement.
..Mr. Ramsey was a member of the Uniontown Baptist Church.
..He was survived by his wife of the home and one son and one daughter, Lester Ramsey of Kansas City, KS and Mrs. Don (Beulah) Kibble of Fort Scott.
..There were two half brothers and a half sister, Lute Ramsey of Uniontown and Robert Ramsey and Mrs. Jack (Mildred) Cunningham, San Jose, CA.
..Five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren also survived.
