Marion Sue (Sutton) Simmons, 87, widow of Walter Haymond Simmons, of 126 Cedar Lane, died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at her residence.

She was born on October 30, 1925, in Verona, a daughter of the late Everett M. and Louella (Critzer) Sutton.

Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Rocky and Joan Simmons of New Hope; a daughter, Nancy Simmons of Verona; six grandchildren, Sam Harold and husband, Gary, Mike McCray, Teresa Rose and husband, Larry, Kimberly Hinkle and husband, Dannylee, Roxann Canipe and husband, Mike, and Keith Harman and wife, Tricia; ten great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and two dogs, CoCo and Roc.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Sarah Jane McCray and Peggy A. Simmons and two sisters, her twin Martha A. Yesalavich and Janet A. Foley.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by David Zimmerman. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers will be Stephen Hinkle, Dakota Canipe, Tony Greaver, B.F. Caricofe, Danny Neff, and Phillip Neff.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2013 at Henry Funeral Home.
