Funeral services were held at the First Baptist church, of which Miss Shell had been a member, this morning, with Rev. L. C. Dickerson and Rev. W. L. Newman in charge, Interment was in Sunset cemetery at Christiansburg.
Miss Bossie was born in Montgomery county at "Shellsville,"
a daughter of Eliza Henderson and William Paris Shell. She came with her parents from their country home, Locust Grave." when they moved to Radford in the 18o1. surviving her are two sisters, Miss. Zillah, Jane Shell and, Miss. Willie Shell Henderson, both of this city. The following are nieces and nephews: Mrs. B. F. Shannon, Mrs. B. F. Balwin. Mrs. f. B. Wilson of Roanoke, Mrs. Hugh Williams and Mrs. Maurice Mitchell of Cambria, Miss Janie Shell Henderson of Radford, C. G. and R. R. Lucas of Cambria and c. H. Williams of Salem.
