MRS. ELLEN SHEAHAN DIES AT HOME HERE
Mrs. Ellen Sheahan, 67, wife of John Sheahan, died yesterday at the home, 2125 Pinkney street, following a short illness.
Mrs. Sheahan was a native of Nebraska. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Begley, pioneers, and the first white family to settle in the district that is now South Omaha. She is survived by her husband, five daughters, Mrs. Mae C. Jewell, Mrs. Jane A. McGeough, the Misses Alice M. Sheahan, Nellie L. Sheahan and Gertrude L. Sheahan, all of Omaha, and four sisters, Mesdames John Flynn, P. J. Culkin and Margaret Kennelley of Omaha, and Mrs. Mary Treacy of Seattle.
The funeral will be held at 9 a. m. Monday at St. Philomena's church at Tenth and William streets. Mrs. Sheahan was baptized and married at St. Philomena's church when it was the old Catholic cathedral and stood at Ninth and Harney streets. Services will be not be held at the Sacred Heart church, of whih Mrs. Sheahan is a member, because of forty hours' devotion there. Burial will be in Holy Sepulcher [St. Mary's].

SHEAHAN – Mrs. Ellen, formerly Ellen Begley, age 67, beloved wife of John. She is survived besides her husband by five daughters. On account of 40 hours devotion at Sacred Heart church, funeral will be held at St. Philomena's church Monday morning at 9 a. m. from residence, 2125 Pinkney street at 8:20 a. m. Interment St. Mary's cemetery. Gentleman's Mortuary in charge.
