Joyce Harriett Poulsen Marsh
(September 13, 1929 - May 22, 2013)

Our loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend, Joyce Harriett Poulsen Marsh, 83, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 of injuries sustained in a fall.

She was born on September 13, 1929 to Lawrence H. and Marcia Della Ruth Petersen Poulsen in Brigham City, Utah.

Joyce married Loris "Tebe" Marsh on May 23, 1944 in Salt Lake City. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on May 25, 1953. Loris and Joyce were able to spend 50 wonderful years together before Loris passed away on October 24, 1994.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in several callings.

Joyce loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. They were her life. Joyce made many friends working at Smith's as a cashier for 35 years and everywhere she went. She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, camping, and deer hunting.

Joyce is survived by her children, Michael (Linda) Marsh, Marcia (Robert) Wanner, Kenneth (Laura) Marsh, Barbara (Larry) Newland, Patricia (Frank) Christensen, Kathi Streeval, and Lauri Marsh Burrows; 39 grandchildren, 108 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, brother, L. Leon (Ann) Poulsen, sisters, Beth Whitaker, Carol (Gerald) Jensen, and Janice Poulsen Gardner; aunt, Iola Miconi; and numerous loving relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, son, Steven; son-in-law, DJ Streeval; great-grandsons, Brandon Wanner and Austin Loris Wanner; parents, brother, Jim Poulsen; and brother-in-law, Ted Whitaker

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Washington Terrace 5th Ward, 350 West 5100 South, Washington Terrace.

Friends may visit with family Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Lindquist's Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
