Meadors, Lloyd L. Age 88, formerly of Homer Glen, IL, passed away May 14, 2013. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he proudly served during WWII. He was an avid fisherman and a devoted family man. Preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Bessie Meadors; a son, Kevin Meadors; a daughter, Christine Meadors, and his sisters, Erma Drury, Alvera Boughton, Cleta Ashway, Alice Martin, and Thelma Huchinson. Survived by his beloved wife, Emily (nee Kujawa) Meadors, of 65 years of marriage; daughter, Karen (Mike) Powell; his son, Gregory (Laura) Meadors; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation Thursday, May 23, 2013, from 4 8 p.m. at Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C. 108 Illinois St. Lemont, IL 60439. Funeral services Friday, 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home to SS.
