Virgil was a resident of Dayton for 59 years, a retired employee of Meadow Gold Dairy, after 42 years of faithful service.
He was a member of Mount Enon Missionary Baptist Church for 59 years and was honorably discharged from from the United States Army in 1946 serving in the Pacific Theater.
Preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Willa Mae Reeves (five weeks ago).
Virgil is survived by his sons, Edgar (Linda) Reeves of Cleveland, Ohio, Kenneth Reeves of Dayton, Ohio; isiter, Rosa Lee Mundy of Dayton, Ohio; three grandchildren, Eric Reeves of Chicago, Illinois, Bryan Reeves and Kristen Reeves of Cleveland, Ohio; other relatives and many friends.
