Funeral services for Ms.
Catherine Annette Reeves of
Dublin will be held on Satur-
day, May 25 at 2 p.m. at
William Grove Baptist Church
104 West Mary Street in
Dublin. Reverend Ernest
Holmes will officiate. Inter-
ment will follow in the Dudley
Memorial Cemetery.
Ms. Reeves who departed
this life on Sunday, May 19
was born November 28, 1954
in Dublin. She was born to
Henrietta Hall and the late
Mr. Thomas (T.C.) Brown. She
was preceded in death by a
loving sister, Lola King. She
was a member of William
Grove Baptist Church. Ms.
Reeves attended Oconee High
School and later attended
Dublin High School following
integration. Knowing that her
true passion was in cooking
and food service, she became
manager of Dublin K-Mart
eatery for a number of years.
This led her to open her own
restaurant, Annette's Kitchen.
Upon closing Annette's
kitchen dut to health issues,
she devoted the rest of her
days to nurturing and caring
for her grandchildren and
everyone else's childen. Al-
though no longer able to oper-
ate a full-time business, Ms.
Reeves continued her life's
passion for cooking by cater-
ing family and community
events. The family will receive
friends at 802 North Washing-
ton Street Dublin.
