Brandon sttended and graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Taylor, Michigan in 2004. In addition, he received a certificate in Microsoft Tech School in Southfield, Michigan.
He loved playing sports as a child. He craved baseball more that any other sport and he excelled tremendously as a youngster. Winning many awards and various accolades, Brandon developed a strong reputation throughtout Southwest Detroit's Kennedy Center.
Brandon had many hobbies but loved cooking and enjoyed watching cooking shows. He loved family gatherings, so he could spend time with his loved ones and close friends. Brandon was a very inviting person, known for greeting people with lots of love, coming and going.
Brandon was a very spiritual person. He would always say "Ma, I get on my knees every night and pray for you and my brother."
Brandon and brother Breland, loved to complete against each other, no matter what the situation or activity. from card playing, to sports, or just an intense debate about any miscellaneous topic. But this competition never damaged their relationship, instead, worked as a tool to strengthened their relationship everyday.
He leaves to cherish his memory, mother, Vanessa Hogan: brother, Breland Hogan: one grandmother, Zenobia Elms: one grandfather, William Hogan Sr.; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; along with three special friends, Vito Dunson, Ronald Tillman and Karlton Gain.
