J R Northcut, aged 86, died at the home of his son, Joe Northcutt, in Marietta, Okla., at 2 o'clock, Wednesday morning. Deceased was a resident of the Springtown community for more than fifty years, where he was revered and honored by the entire citizenship. He left Springtown about one year ago to make his home with his son, The body will arrive in Weatherford Thursday on the 11 am train and be taken to Springtown for burial. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Mr. Bell, pastor of the Methodist church there, of which deceased was an honored member.
