Obituary
Lloyd J. Marsh Lifelong Native of Livermore Born September 5, 1922, died October 15, 2010 at the age of 88. He served in the 11th Airborne in WWII. He married Ruth Marino in 1942. They were married for 69 years. They had three daughters Ruth Harter, Toni Tompkins (Dan), Sandy Sanders (Steve); seven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. He enjoyed Rodeo's, hunting, bowling and watching his 49ers. He was a member of the Turtles, the first Professional Rodeo Association. He also helped start the first Junior Rodeo in Livermore. He worked for the Coast Manufacture Supply Co. and Hexel for 38 years. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Jackie; and granddaughter Trudy Sanders. There will be a Celebration of his Life on Saturday October 23, 2010 from 1-4 pm at the Eagles Hall, 527 N. Livermore Ave. in Livermore, CA.
