Marchand is the second priest of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. He started the second church of that name in Holyoke. He was ordained in 1 May 1885 in Springfield Massachusetts. He served at Perpetual Help from 1904 to 1938. His father is Roch Marchand and his mother is Aurelie Cormier.
