Steven Gregory Burks, small son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph N. Burks of West 19th Street, died at 5 o'clock this morning at the residence.
The child, only 2 years and 10 months old, had been ill for approximately two years of his brief lifetime.
Funeral services will be held at Keightley Funeral Home at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon, with Dr. Peyton Thurman of the First Baptist Church in charge. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.
Survivors in addition to the parents include a sister, Barbara Sue and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph M. Burks and Abner W. Witherspoon, all of the city.
Pall bearers for the rites Monday will be Joe Witherspoon, Jimmy Cobb, James Boren, and Hiram Wilkins.
