Katherine JoAnne Garrison 1930 ~ 2004
Katherine JoAnne Garrison, 74, left this earthly plain to be with her Heavenly Father due to a heart attack on September 21, 2004. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Born January 20, 1930 to David James and Iris B. Searle. She married Phillip O Garrison on December 2 1953 in Salt Lake City, UT. They lived in Midvale, Utah and Mishawaka, Indiana. They spent a short time in Roswell, New Mexico. She was a great mom and a loving wife. She was known to all for her sense of humor and her laugh. All were welcome in her home and it was always a gathering place for family and friends. Many hours were spent around the dining table talking, laughing and eating. Her husband and family were here greatest loves and she took care of all of us even when she was the one who needed taking care of. She was a blessing in the lives of all who knew her and she will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Phillip and by her seven children: Kathy Jo (John) Jones, JeAnne (Richard) Eskridge, Phillip Scott Garrison, Rosemary Garrison, Heidi Blair, Michelle Martin, Saralei (Packy) Farjado. She is also survived by two sisters and one brother: Shirley Sacos, Maxine Summers and David J. Searle; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Friday, Sept. 25, 2004 at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 10776 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, Indiana.
