Lt. Cmdr. Larry W. Proctor, 59, of Corpus Christi, Texas, and a native of Bowling Green, died May 15, 2013.

Larry was a retired Navy veteran. Larry was preceded in death by his sisters, Carole Arrissa Butts and Clydella Butts Boiser, and brother, Lt. Cmdr. Edward L. Butts.

Larry is survived by his wife of 33 years, Gloria Proctor of Corpus Christi; sons, Christopher Proctor and Terrell Proctor of California;daughter, Wendi Proctor of Corpus Christi; mother, Louvella P. Whitney of Bowling Green; sisters, Barbara Page, Phyllis (Cedric) Hampton, Joyce Laverne (William) Parrish and Maxine (Bobby) Ray, and brother, Jolantha Butts, all of Bowling Green; six grandchildren, one great aunt, three great uncles, several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Second Baptist Church in Corpus Christi.?Visitation is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, 5026 Old Brownsville Road in Corpus Christi.
