Andrew Vando Whitehead, 73, of 9 Brumbaugh Ave., died at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, 1993, in Chambersburg Hospital.
Born Jan. 9, 1920, in Tallahassee, Fla., he was a son of the late Edward and Mary Robinson Whitehead.
He was a self-employed crew leader for area fruit orchards.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Burial will be Saturday in Shady Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Tallahassee.

Jr. of Tallahassee, Ernest B. of Winter Haven, Fla., Moses E., Joseph, Henry L. and Daniel, all of Chambersburg, and James L. of York; 10 grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Wilson of Philadelphia and Wilda Mae of Tallahassee; and three brothers, LeRoy of Panama City, Fla., Moses of Jacksonville, Fla., and Parker of Macon, Ga.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Burial will be Saturday in Shady Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Tallahassee.
