Burial will be Saturday in Shady Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Tallahassee.

∼Andrew Vando Whitehead, 73, of 9 Brumbaugh Ave., died at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, 1993, in Chambersburg Hospital.
Born Jan. 9, 1920, in Tallahassee, Fla., he was a son of the late Edward and Mary Robinson Whitehead.
He was a self-employed crew leader for area fruit orchards.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Surviving are his wife, Rosetta Carter Whitehead, whom he married in August 1973 in Chambersburg; two daughters, Emma J. and Mary L., both of Chambersburg; seven sons, Andrew V. Jr. of Tallahassee, Ernest B. of Winter Haven, Fla., Moses E., Joseph, Henry L. and Daniel, all of Chambersburg, and James L. of York; 10 grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Wilson of Philadelphia and Wilda Mae of Tallahassee; and three brothers, LeRoy of Panama City, Fla., Moses of Jacksonville, Fla., and Parker of Macon, Ga.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Burial will be Saturday in Shady Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Tallahassee.
