Denise Marie Frank Potts

Denise Marie Frank Potts passed away at her home in Lake Isabella on June 28, 2004.

Denise was born Nov. 7, 1959 to David and Carol Frank in Lynwood, Calif. and lived most of her life in the Kern River Valley.

Denise will be most remembered for her bubbly personality and smile. She never met a stranger that she couldn't go up to and start a conversation with - especially at fire camps, where she made camp come alive when she worked on the commissary truck.

Denise is preceded in death by her son, John Potts III, and her father, David Frank. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Mike Weser and two beautiful grandchildren, Jessica and Elijah Weser, all of Kernville; mother and step-dad Carol and Harry Lee of Reno, Nev.; and sister and brother-in-law Liz and Tony Martinez of Lake Isabella. She is also survived by sisters and brothers-in-law Cindy and Bobby Walden, and Julie and Ted Ferrato, as well as brother and sister-in-law Chris and Mary Frank; all of Reno, Nev.; nieces and nephews Ryan Walden, Joey and Stephanie Martinez, and Lance and Amanda Ferrato; as well as the many special friends she loved very much.

Denise will greatly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Services were held on Saturday, July 3, 2004 at the Kern River Valley Cemetery in Wofford Heights.

After the services, a celebration of her life was held at her sister Liz's house for all who knew and loved her.
