Born May 14, 1961, in Dunkirk, he was the son of Charles and Marjorie Bower Zink.
A Chautauqua County resident his entire life, he was a 1979 graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central Schools and was employed on the family dairy farm until 1987. He was employed by Bush Industries of Jamestown until 1989 and later worked for Regis Inventory Management Co. of Erie. He also served as supervisor of maintenance for Evergreen Cemetery for 10 years.
Besides his parents, he is survived by brothers: Craig Zink of Fort Pierce, Fla., and David Zink of Cassadaga; two sisters: Susan Mathers and Sallie Nickerson, both of Cassadaga; and several uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday in the Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville, with ministerial candidate Tammy M. Bower officiating.
Burial will be in Burnham Hollow Cemetery, Arkwright.
The family will be present to receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Sinclairville Volunteer Fire Department or the Sinclairville Free Library fund.
