Francis LeRoy Bishop, 81, of Frederick, MD formerly of Owings, MD went to be with the lord on Sunday May 19, 2013 at his home.

He was the husband for 60 years of Anna Mae (Heath) Bishop.

Born on December 29, 1931 in Bradford, PA he was the son of the late Everett Charles and Lottie Ruth Lushbaugh Bishop.

He was a veteran of the U. S Air Force and later served as a mechanic for the U. S. Government. He was a member of Air National Guard.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Charles Bishop of Prince Frederick and Catherine MacInnes and husband Joe of Frederick. Grandchildren David Tucker and wife Jen and Christi Tucker and Francis Bishop II and J. Nicole Bishop. Five great grandchildren Jaeden Tucker, Kaela Befano, Gwenyth Tucker, J. R. Hall and Lah-Zariah Bishop. One sister Carolyn L. Frantz of Bradford, PA.

He was preceded in death by one brother Aloice G. Bishop and one sister Edith M. Kelley.

The family will receive friends from 3-5 & 7-9 on Friday May 24, 2013 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21701.

Funeral Services will be held at 8:00pm that evening in the Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will take place at 1:00pm on Thursday May 30, 2013 in Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery, 11301 Crain Highway, Cheltenham, MD 20623.
