Doris A. Riffle
MOUNT PLEASANT, W. Va.- An employee at the Jantzen Inc. knitting mill in Washougal for 36 years years, Doris A. Riffle, died in Parkersburg, W. Va., hospital Christmas Day. She was 70.
A funeral will begin at11 a.m. Wednesday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel, followed by burial in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Riffle was born Jan. 4, 1922, in Norfolk, Neb., and had lived in West Virginia for the last two years. She lived in Vancouver from 1944 from 1990.
A son, Michael, died in September.
Survivors include a brother, Lawrence Nahrstedt of Vancouver; two sisters, Winona Jones of Vancouver and Patricia Railing of Eagle River, Alaska; one grandchild; three step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Riffle was a member of the 20-Year Club at Jantzen, the International Order of Foresters and the Hazel Dell Grange.
