Virginia L Finley, 93, passed away Monday May 20, 2013 at Betz Nursing Home in Auburn.
She was born October 9, 1919 in Auburn to Henry and Louise (Palmer) Bry.
She worked as a Sales Clerk for the Boston Store / Blackwell's Department Store in Auburn for over 20 years.
She was a member of Auburn First United Methodist Church where she was active in the Women's Auxiliary and the Women's Circle of the church. She loved to square dance and belonged to the local Square Dancing Club.
Virginia married Woodrow W. Martin on October 8, 1938 and he died in March of 1973 she then married John H. Finley in February of 1975 and he died in 1996.
She is survived by 2 sons and a daughter, Richard J "Dick" and Mary Ann Martin Of Auburn, Robert E. "Marty" and Bonnie Martin of Melbourne Beach, Fl and Sharron K and James Tague of Warsaw; 6 grandchildren, Mark A. Martin, Jeffrey S. Martin, Tonya L. Martin, Kristin L. Martin, Christopher A. Tague, Matthew A. Tague and there are 4 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, 3 brothers, Edward Bry, Charles Bry and Clarence "Sam" Bry and 3 sisters Helen Kaiser, Mildred Shoudell and Mrytle "Bess" Hornet.
Funeral Services are 1 PM Thursday May 23, 2013 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn with Rev Wilber Yates officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Auburn.
