Prior to his retirement he was employed as a supervisor at Volkswagen. He was a member of Mount Pleasant Firemen’s Club, and a former member of Mount Pleasant fire Department.
Besides his mother he is survived by his wife of 34 years, Sandra Lee Paladino McCloy; four sons: James Carl McCloy and his wife, Donna, of Acme, Jeffrey Allen McCloy and his wife, Lori, of Calumet, Jonathon R. McCloy and his wife, Laura, of Hunker, and Matthew Nicholas McCloy at home; a daughter, Kristen McCloy of Youngwood; two granddaughters: Miranda McCloy and Jenna Nicole McCloy; four brothers: Jack R. McCloy Jr. and his wife, Barbara, of Stevensville, Md., Dell McCloy and his wife, Roxanne, of Brownsville, Pa., Frederick McCloy and his wife, Carol, of Mount Pleasant, and Gregg McCloy and his wife, Olga, of Ligonier; a sister, Kathryn Fultz and her husband, Bill, of Mount Pleasant; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the EUGENE G. SALOOM FUNERAL HOME INC., 730 West Main St., Mount Pleasant, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 19, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Larry R. Hellein officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
