John S. Melson, 69, died Friday at the home of his son, Bertrand Melson at Redland. Funeral services were held at the Redland church Saturday at 2:30 p. m., Rev. A. J. Rhoten officiating.
Arrangements were in charge of Wilson Funeral home of Idabel.
Melson is survived by one son, Bertrand Melson, Redland; two daughters, Mrs. Charlie Cheeves, Kellyville; Mrs. Carl Dollarhide, Haworth; one brother, E. A. Melson, Broken Bow and one sister, Mrs. Ed Martin, Hobart.
