Linda M. Cellana (Collins), age 67 of North Syracuse, went to join her husband, Allen, on what would have been their 45th Wedding Anniversary, on Saturday, May 18, after a long illness, with her family by her side. Linda was born Dec. 23, 1945 in Massena, NY. After graduation, Linda moved to Syracuse where she met and married Allen A. Cellana on May 18, 1968. She was a former employee of GE, American Greetings and a devoted homemaker, who enjoyed vacationing in Vero Beach, FL with her family. Linda was a very active member of Andrews United Methodist Church where she was treasurer, she also volunteered at the Cradle and Beyond and North Area Meals on Wheels. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth Collins. Linda was predeceased by her husband, Allen in 1995; and her brother, Gary in 2012. She is survived by one daughter, Suzanne of North Syracuse; one son, Keith (Cheryl Francoeur) of Cicero; two brothers, James (Lori) Collins of Massena and William (Arlene) Collins of New Hampshire; five grandchildren, Jason, Matthew, Nicholas, Jacob, Joseph; and two great-grandchildren, Annbella and Anthony; sister-in-law and close friend, Janice Cellana; several cousins, nieces and nephews, and sisters-in-law. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Warners, NY. The family requests donations in Linda's memory to North Area Meals on Wheels, P.O. Box 347, North Syracuse, NY 13212; and Hospice of CNY, 990 7th North St., Liverpool, NY 13088-6148.
