Mrs. Florence Last, 72, of 1825 S. 17th St., died at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital Monday after a prolonged illness.
The former Florence Meerdink was born in Sheboygan May 9, 1903, a daughter of Gerret and Belle Meerdink.
She graduated from Sheboygan High School in 1921.
She was employed by Fessler-Kuck Furniture from 1921 to 1927.
Her marriage to Berthold (Bert) Last took place in Waukegan, Ill. on Aug. 9, 1927.
She was a member of Hope Reformed Church.
Surviving are her husband and two brothers, Edgar Meerdink of Milwaukee and Jess Meerdink of Sheboygan.
A brother preceded her in death.
Private funeral services will be held at the Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home Wednesday at 11 a.m., the Rev. Paul DeVries, pastor of Hope Reformed Church, officiating. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
A memorial has been established in Mrs. Last's name.
