David L. Wirt, aged 71 years, died at his home in this city last Wednesday night after an illness that had lasted for several months. Mr. Wirt was well known in this county, having resided here for nearly twenty years. His wife, one son and two daughters survive him. Miss Iraine Wirt and Mrs. John Gates, his two daughters, are both residents of this county, and his son, Howard Wirt, is a resident of Tecumseh, Nebr. All were with him at the time of his death. Mr. Wirt had long been a member of the Christian church. He came to this county from Illinois. The funeral was conducted from the Christian church Friday at 2:30 o'clock p. m.
