She was a homemaker and a member of the Stratford Heights Church of God. Preceding her in death were her father, Donald Edward Bowlin, Sr. and her nephew, Mortique Bowlin. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, William R. "Bill" Sparks; one daughter, Annagale Rae Sparks; three step-children, Steven Sparks, wife Vicky, William D. Sparks, wife Connie, and P. Joseph Sparks, wife Tina; her mother Anna Gale Buchanan; her step-mother, Karen Shimer Bowlin; two brothers, Donald Edward Bowlin, Jr., and Timothy Bryan Buchanan; two sister, Kristy Bowlin Slaughter and Kara Bowlin; five grandchildren, Steven, Casey, Markie, Joey and Billy; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, May 24, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, followed by services at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Dan Flory officiating.
