Janice L. Strickland, age 56 of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away May 17, 2013 at Atlanta Medical Center. She was born November 30, 1956 in Villa Rica, Georgia, to the late Mr. Cliff Strickland and Mrs. Remona Phillips Strickland. She was a member of West Georgia Worship Center.
Survivors include her sister Nancy Dockery of Whitesburg, Ga; nephew and spouse Jeremiah and Maggie Dockery of Villa Rica; and other extended family members.
Memorial services were held at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Ricky Shirley officiating. Interment was at a later date. In accordance with the family's wishes, the body was been cremated. Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel of Carrollton had charge of the arrangements.
