Clifford Truitt Farmer, 82, died Sunday, May 19th in Shelbyville. He was a native of Titus, AL. He was a retired wholesale floral salesman with Pete Garcia Company and an U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Shelbyville First Baptist Church.



He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Farmer and Annie Ruth Manning Farmer; and his sister, Sue McKee Holley. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lloyd Farmer of Shelbyville; his daughters, Kathy Jenkins and Elizabeth Wessels (Marc A.) both of Louisville; his stepdaughters, Robin Roberts (Gene) of Simpsonville and Stacey Nichols of Tucson, AZ; his stepson, Grant Nichols (Kim) of Louisville; his sister, Ann Griswold (Ralph) of Lake Martin, AL; his brother-in-law, Lester Holley, Jr. of Eclectic, AL; his grandchildren, Drew Roberts, Tyler Roberts, Lauren Roberts, Jordan Nichols, Skylar Jenkins, Taylor Bell, and Meredith Bell; his great grandchildren, Brooklynn Roberts, Leah Roberts, and Kaden Jenkins; his nephews, Mike McKee and Tripp Griswold; and his nieces, Deborah Harrison, Sherri Jarvie, and Amy Reese.



Funeral: 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Shannon Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Marc A. Wessels and the Rev. Gene Roberts. Visitation: 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial: Grove Hill Cemetery.
