Nellie Daingerfield Oliver, 76, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 5, 2006. She is survived by her husband, Robert H. Oliver; son, David L. Oliver; daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Bob Halpin. Susan and Terry Smolinski, Karen and Carl Shelton; sisters, Ann Hart and Alleen Derham; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Thursday at the Morrisssett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rt. 10). Her funeral service will be held 2 pm Friday at Branchs Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Branchs Baptist Church, Kitchen Building Fund, 3400 Broad Rock Blvd., Richmond, VA 23234.
