Barbara Andreani, nee Brobst, age 72 of Schererville, IN, passed away Friday, May 22, 2009.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Louise (Gregory) Carr; grandchildren: Nathan, Grant and Isaac Carr; sisters: Judy Brobst and Lynn Dudek; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene; sister, Louise Austin and granddaughter, Sarah Carr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas More Church, 8501 Calumet Ave., Munster. With Fr. John Zmelko officiating. Visitation will be 1/2 hour prior to the Mass at the church. Burial will be at St. Michael Cemetery, Schererville.

Barbara was born and raised in Munster,IN, where she was a member of St. Thomas More Church and their Altar and Rosary Society. She was retired from NIPSCO and loved to play the piano, do needlepoint and knitting.
