NEWTON ~ Rebecca Moose Hatchett, age 84, was a daughter of the late Aubrey R. Moose and Sallie Hunsucker Moose. Becky was a devoted homemaker and an amazing mother. She was truly a woman of faith who raised her family to love God and one another. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Newton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, James P. Hatchett Jr.; two brothers, Aubrey R. Moose Jr., Brady E. Moose; two sisters, Evelyn I. Moose and Dorcas L. Moose.
