MELVIN M. KUHN Schererville, Indiana Age 76 passed away Friday, March 30, 2007.

He is survived by his children, Michael (Judy) Kuhn of Schererville, Bruce (Jean) Kuhn of Naperville, Illinois, Diane (Dave) Struebig of Hobart; grandchildren, Kevin Kuhn, Dennis, Jaclyn and Matthew Kuhn, Christopher Carlson, Lauren Struebig; great grandchild, Shyla; brothers, Norm Kuhn, Charles (Linda) Kuhn; sisters, Ann (Bob) Ayersman and Mary (Bill) Marsh; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lana and parents, Michael and Leona Kuhn.

Funeral services will be held at the Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 8580 Wicker Ave. (Route 41) in St. John on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at 11 a.m. with a funeral mass to follow at St. Michael Church at 11:30 a.m. Burial St. Michael Cemetery in Schererville. Friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Monday from 3 to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 4 p.m. and a VFW Post #717 service at 7:00 P.M.

Mr. Kuhn was a retired 20 year member of the Indiana State Police; a member of St. Michael Church and treasurer for the Catholic Order of Foresters CT #102 in Schererville. He was also a U.S. Army veteran serving in Korea; a member of V.F.W. Post 717 in St. John; and he helped maintain Mount Calvary at St. Michael Cemetery.
