Edward George Mowry, 27, Schellsburg, died December 25, 1969 in Geistown. '
He was born June 18, 1942 in Napier Township, Bedford County, a son of Sherwood G. and Mary (Felix) Mowry.
He is survived by his parents, of Schellsburg his wife, and three children: Sharon, Judith, and David, two brothers, Donald W. and Stanley Glenn, both and of Schellsburg; maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Felix of New Paris RD and paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. George Mowry of Orchard Heights, Bedford also survive.
He was a construction worker; served in the National guard in the U.S. Army for six years and attended the Village Church, Bedford.
Funeral services: Sunday, December 28 at 2:30 p.m. in the J. Ralph Mickle Funeral Home, Schellsburg with Rev. David Hardt officiating.
Burial in Schellsburg Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. and on Sunday until time of services.
