He quietly and peacefully departed this life May 9, 2013 at his home.
At an early age, he joined Wehadkee Baptist Church.
He worked for Sims Lumber Company until his retirement.
Wesley was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Bell Henderson; son, Robert (Toot) Henderson; and grandsons, Christopher (Pumpkin) Henderson and Willie (Mott) Hooks.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories, three daughters, Betty Henderson, Fannie (John Lee) Harrison, both of LaGrange, GA; and Ruby Mae Atkinson, Roanoke, AL; four sons, Willie Henderson, Charlie Henderson, Larry Heard, and Henry (Dot) Heard, all of LaGrange, GA; 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, other relative, and friends.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Wehadkee Baptist Church with Rev. Otis Wilson and Dr. W. T. Edmondson officiating. Burial will follow at the Church Cemetery.
