Services for Mrs. Martha Evans,a resident of Texas for 31 years will be held in Barbours Chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday
Burial will be in Gold Bond Memorial cemetery at Hitchcock under the direction of Field's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Evans died Saturday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ruty Martin of Texas City. A native of San Augustine, Texas Mrs. Evans was the widow of Rev. F. D. Evans.
Other survivors include Mrs. Evans daughter, Mrs. Clara Saffore and Mrs. Artis Wisby, and her sons, Frank and Lester Evans all of Texas City.
