CALDWELL — Services for Merrill Hanville, 89, 117 S. Seventh, Caldwell, who died Saturday in a Caldwell hospital, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Peckham-Dakan-Davis Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Walden Askren. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
He was born Sept. 3, 1876, at Willamette, Ore. He recently moved to Caldwell from Portland, Ore.
Surviving is a son, Kenneth Hanville of Carson City, Nev.

Merrill Hanville 89, Caldwell, died Saturday in a local hospital. Mr. Hanville was born Sept. 3, 1876, in Willamette, Ore. He came to Caldwell last year from Portland. A scrapbook among his possessions contains newspaper clippings from cities throughout the United States of showings of his paintings and art work. He had had a small booklet of poetry published.

His only known survivor is a son, Kenneth Hanville of Carson City, Nev.
