Son of John White (1704 – 1752) & Rachael Loring White (1717 – 1752).

He first married Jane Stinson (20 May 1748 – 8 Dec 1774) on 20 Dec 1764 in Georgetown, Maine.

He fought in the Revolutionary War as a corporal in Capt. James Lemont's Co. July 1775 to December 1775. He was commissioned a Captain on 1 July 1776. --- from contributor Sam Stoddard.
