Misty J. Canterbury, age 34, of Morganton, died Sunday, May 12, 2013 at her residence. She was born May 29, 1978 in Caldwell County to Linda Ann McLean of Lenoir and the late Richard H. Canterbury.
Survivors in addition to her mother, include two daughters, Brooklyn Bivens of Newton and Malorie-Kate Smith of Hickory; and two sisters, Melissa Canterbury Jones of Providence, Kentucky and Jennifer Canterbury of Hudson.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Dry Ponds Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Rick Crouse and Rev. Sam Craven. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
