Barbara was born to John H. Baese and Ida L. Richens in Tooele, Utah. She was the third child out of four. She attended Silver King and Kellogg High School. She married John Hendry and started a family.
Later, the couple separated and Barbara married Charles Brown. After many years of marriage, Barbara and Charles divorced and Barbara then married John Saunders and remained his wife until his death.
She leaves behind her significant other, Wesley White at the family home; sister Lola McNamara of Coeur d'Alene; brother Richard Baese of Smelterville; son Michael Brown and his significant other, Lori Mcvay of Coeur d'Alene; daughters Cheryl A. Dunn and her significant other, Larry Archibald of Phoenix, Ariz., and Bambi Bradley and her husband Jay of Hayden, Idaho; stepsons Kenneth Saunders and his wife Rhonda of Rock Springs, Wyo., and David Saunders and his wife Dusty of Rock Springs, Wyo. She also leaves behind five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brother, Keith Baese, sister, Deon Pollock and great grandson, Sage Gustafson.
Per Barbara's wishes there will be no funeral or memorial service. The family is planning a gathering for friends and family at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at the Kellogg Park.
