Edith Liston was born in Columbine, Colorado in 1892 to Daniel and Ella Liston. She attended schools in Denver, CO., and Collins, Wyo.
She married Gilbert Leslie Rinehart in 1912 and at the beginning of their marriage they lived in Granger, Wyoming where Gilbert worked for Union Pacific Railroad as a clerk.
On July 18, 1921, Gilbert filed a Homestead Act for 160 acres in Sweetwater, Wyoming.
On December 20, 1923, Mrs. Rinehart was admitted at Rock Springs, Wyoming General hospital in a very critical condition. She had a caesarean and delivered a healthy daughter, Charlotte.
By Christmas Day, she passed away with childbirth complications, puberal eclampsia and cerebral hemorrhage.
She was buried on December 28, 1923.
