Albert Carr Hudgens 85 died in his home 1516 North Eighteenth Street at 10:15 pm Friday after an illness of two days Born in Tippecanoe County he was a millwright for 38 years in the box board plant at the foot of Chestnut Street He was employed by the Alton Box Board Paper company at the time of his retirement in 1945.
He was married in 1896 to Nealle A Crawford who died in 1945 He was a member of the First Christian church, Tippecanoe Lodge No 492, AAM Lafayette Chapter No 3 Royal Arch Masons and Tippecanoe Council No 68 Royal and Select Masters and was a 50-year member of Knights of Pythias Lodge No 51.
Surviving are a daughter Miss Edna M Hudgens at home, a brother Dennis C. of Lafayette and two sisters Mrs. Mort Ewing Lafayette and Mrs. Mattie Cuny Arlington Heights
