on Feb. 14, 1917. They farmed
in Sac County, until his retirement
in early 1980. He was a member of
United Methodist Church, Nemaha.
Preceding him in death were
his parents; three brothers —
James, Frank, and Ernest; and three
sisters — Elizabeth, Dora, and
Millie.
Survivors include his wife;
two sons — Donald Toomer,
Nemaha, and Edward Toomer,
Newell; six grandchildren; and 10
great grandchildren.
