Believed to be born in Harrison, Arkansas and buried in Dow, but family history records indicated burial in Arch and Hartshorne as well. That being due to the fact that Hartshorne, Dow, and Arch were all enumerated in the US Censues as being Dow Township.

Son of Matilda Lynda (nee Gilliam) and Orange Tucker (a Native American Indian). Husband to Lucinda Jane (nee Christian). Father to:

Coy Tucker (dates unknown, died as infant)
Hugh Tucker (dates unknown, died as infant)
Minnie Mae Tucker (Salyers) 1881 – 1970
Ollie Lou Tucker (Adams) 1885 – 1932
Leslie Luther Tucker 1886 – 1944
Effie Alena Tucker (Massey)
Lillian Mae Tucker (Ervin) 1889 – 1981
Maggie Victoria Tucker (Logan)
Zula Belle Tucker (Logan) 1895 – 1945
George Washington "Buster" Tucker 1900 – 1968
Charles Sylvester "Bill" Tucker 1902 – 1983

The Tuckers were known to have lived in Dow, Arch, and Hartshorne. The infant children who died are buried in the Sulphur Cemetery outside Hartshorne in unmarked graves. The headstones are just pieces of sandstone but no one is alive to indicate just which grave belongs to what person.

There is no known headstone, his grave is marked by a piece of sandstone. Hawk Ervin was grandson to Thomas, and knew where he was buried, but Hawk has since passed. Thomas had nicknames of "George" and "Doc". It was common for the Tuckers to have nicknames.

Thomas was my Great-greatgrandfather. JDH
