Services for Bettye Henry Townsend, 55, of Clay, were held 2 p. m., Sunday, May 5, at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay. Minister Rex Childs officiated, with burial in Oddfellows Cemetery in Clay.
Townsend died at 8:15 p.m., Thursday, May 2. at Welborn Baptist Hospital in Evansville.
A member of Fairview Church of Christ in Dixon, she was a member of various organizations through out the county.
Survivors include her husband, J.V. Townsend of Clay, a daughter, Julianna Rhye of Clay, a sister, Hazel Cowan of Clay, and one grandson.
